The British Museum Ball 2025
Share
On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, the British Museum held its inaugural Ball to raise money for the institution's international collections and collaborations, such as the upcoming display of the Bayeux Tapestry. The museum's first Ball had a pink theme with a pink carpet for the celebrities and VIPs to walk down as they entered the do. The pink theme was to echo an exhibition currently on display at the museum: Ancient India: Living Traditions, which has pink as a prominent feature throughout the collection. The colour pink is also a celebration of the museum's links with India in general. On the night, there was a performance by British sitarist Anoushka Shankar and an Indian inspired meal. Guests included fashion superstars, like Naomi Campbell and designer Erdem Moralioglu, photographers, entertainers, politicians, artists, sports stars, and aristocrats. Let's take a look at some of the guests and their outfits for this spectacular occasion.

Which outfit did you like best? Did you enjoy seeing people's interpretation of the pink theme or their ignoring of it entirely (cough, cough, most of the men!)? Would you wear any of these looks?
