The Emmy Awards 2026, Celebrity Style: Men
Share
The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards took place last night at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, celebrating the year's biggest television moments. The Emmys’ signature blue carpet always attracts the best-dressed television stars, and with streaming becoming an increasingly prestigious medium, it also drew movie stars who have recently dipped their toes into small-screen broadcasting. Plenty of couture gowns, sharp suits, glittering adornments, colour, sheer detailing, and old-school glamour abound. Let’s take a look at some of the standout ensembles from this year’s blue carpet.
Colman Domingo
Euphoria and The Four Seasons star Colman Domingo is known for his impeccable red carpet dressing. For the Emmys blue carpet, he chose a relaxed robe-style aesthetic by Valentino. He paired a tailored peach mandarin-collar jacket featuring frog closures with crisp, wide-legged white trousers. A bold, contrasting fuchsia pink sash was anchored around his waist with a statement diamond brooch. He completed the look with pointed-toe shoes and an Omega watch.
Noah Wyle
Winner of the Lead Actor in a Drama Series for The Pitt, Noah Wyle walked the blue carpet in a custom suit by Bruno Cucinelli. Like Colman Domingo, he stepped away from the traditional black suit in favour of a single-breasted beige tuxedo jacket with satin peak lapels. He styled it with a crisp white dress shirt and a black silk bow tie.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
Nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Wonder Man, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II opted for a fuzzily textured grey wool tuxedo jacket with black satin shawl lapels that complemented his classic straight-cut tailored trousers. He finished the look with a traditional bow tie and two statement diamond lapel pins of a flower and a swooping bird.
Charlie Hunnam
Charlie Hunnam, who was nominated for an award for his role in Monster: The Ed Gein Story, arrived at the event in a custom monochromatic navy blue suit by Burberry. The elegant, sharply tailored double-breasted jacket featured contrasting navy silk lapels, which matched his silk dress shirt, worn without a tie for a more relaxed twist on classic formalwear.
Tyler James Williams
Abbott Elementary actor and Supporting Actor nominee Tyler James Williams wore a Canali grey-and-black abstract-patterned single-breasted jacket with short notch lapels, paired with skinny, straight-cut black trousers and a dove grey shirt. Like Charlie Hunnam, he forewent the tie for a more laid-back formalwear look.
