The Gentlemen Season 2: The Premiere
Netflix and Guy Ritchie’s hit show The Gentlemen held its Season 2 premiere at the Guildhall Art Gallery in central London on Wednesday, September 2, with the cast and crew in attendance. All 8 new episodes dropped on Netflix on Thursday, September 3, picking up a year after the shenanigans of season 1. Eddie (Theo James) and Susie (Kaya Scodelario) are running the criminal empire together now and looking to expand into new territory, namely the coast of Italy. Plenty of familiar faces abound, including, but not limited to, Daniel Ings as Eddie’s erratic-turned-serious brother Freddy, Joely Richardson as the mysterious dowager duchess Lady Sabrina, Vinnie Jones as the stoic and loyal gamekeeper of Halstead Manner, Geoff Seacombe, Ray Winstone as Susie’s imprisoned father and head of the Glass empire, Bobby Glass, Michael Vu as Jimmy Chang, Susie’s sweet but unreliable chief grower, and Giancarlo Esposito as Uncle Stan, the wealthy and aristocracy-obsessed American businessman. New characters to look out for, among many others, include Hugh Bonneville as Lord Hawthorne, the legitimate, well-connected member of the House of Lords; Maya Jama (in her acting debut) as Aisha, an underworld fixer; Michele Morrone as Cico Maldini, an untrustworthy Italian underworld fixer; and Sergio Castellitto as Marco Moretti, a dangerous and powerful Italian mafia boss. Theo James
Actor Theo James brought his beautifully tailored character’s style to the red carpet in a teal, double-breasted jacket paired with relaxed-fit trousers, a contrasting burgundy patterned tie, and classic black brogues.
Kaya Scodelario
Susie Glass’s character is all about high and daring fashion, and Kaya Scodelario matched her energy at the premiere, sporting a Paolo Sebastian Spring 2026 Couture collection boudoir-inspired dress. The black gown comprised a sheer corset bodice that contrasted elegantly with a flowing, lace-embellished, floor-length skirt. She accessorised with a ruby-and-diamond choker and Bulgari Serpenti earrings.
Vinnie Jones
Vinnie Jones also leaned into his character Geoff Seacombe’s style, sporting a country-inspired brown checked double-breasted suit by Crow & Jester, a matching baker boy cap, and a matching tie. He completed the outfit with rich brown leather brogues.
Joely Richardson
Joely Richardson escaped from her dowager duchess character’s sophisticated “English country estate aesthetic with a European twist”, donning a much more flamboyant outfit, which, however, still felt fitting for a grand, aristocratic lady. She wore a gold, high-necked, kaftan-style gown by Taller Marmo, covered in shimmering sequins that gave the dress a chainmail-like appearance. Bold, chunky, statement gold jewellery complemented the gown’s high glamour. She finished the look with pointed-toe gold heels and a gold clutch.
Hugh Bonneville
New cast member Hugh Bonneville looked like a perfectly tailored gentleman in an exquisitely fitting navy blue, double-breasted jacket and matching trousers, paired with a crisp white dress shirt and a pop of colour in a bright yellow patterned tie that lifted and modernised the look.
Ray Winstone
Ray Winstone, who plays criminal kingpin Bobby Glass, echoed his character’s power and wealth in custom Savile Row tailoring. He wore a Gieves & Hawkes dinner jacket in ecru wool, a white wing-tip-collar shirt, and contrasting black wool evening trousers, which stood out from the standard monochrome suiting and gave an air of playing by his own rules, just like his character.
