For Episode 18 of Series 29 of The Graham Norton Show, Graham welcomed international singing icon, Adele. Oscar-winning actors Dame Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent appeared to talk about their new drama The Duke. Graham greeted Bridgerton actress Golda Rosheuvel and singer George Ezra came on the show to perform his latest single, Anyone for You. Let's take a look at some of the outfits from this week's show.
Graham dressed more subtly than his usual flamboyant style this week. He wore a single-breasted dark grey suit with notch lapels, a silver-grey crushed velvet shirt and a dark and light grey abstract patterned tie to pull the ensemble together.
English singer-songwriter Adele Adkins, better known as Adele, has sold over one hundred and twenty million records. She has released four studio albums, 19, 21, 25, and 30. Adele has won six Grammy Awards and twelve Brit Awards.
On the show, Adele dressed in a beautifully tailored single-breasted light blush pink suit with peak lapels and wide-legged trousers. The jacket was nipped in at the waist with a belt with a large gold buckle. She continued the gold accents with a chunky bracelet, layered necklaces, and long pointed gold nails. Her hair was middle-parted, long and sleek.
In this clip, Adele explains why she disappears after each album and how she would like more children.
Dame Helen Mirren is an English actress. She won an Oscar for her portrayal of Elizabeth II in The Queen. Mirren is well known for her television role as DCI Jane Tennison in Prime Suspect and her parts in the films The Madness of King George, Gosford Park, Calendar Girls, Red, Red 2, The Fate of the Furious, Hobbs & Shaw, and F9. In 2003, she was awarded a DBE for services to drama and in 2013, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
During her interview, Helen wore a long-sleeved, high necked midi length 50s-style dress with a bold flower print on a black background. On her feet, she donned a pair of chunky buckled black calf-length boots for an edgy twist to the outfit. She accessorised with a weighty silver ring and interesting earrings. Her hair was styled in a classic twisted updo.
This clip shows Helen talking about how she scared off a bear during lockdown by banging on the window and calling it a "Naughty Bear".
Oscar-winning English actor Jim Broadbent is most famous for his roles in the films Iris and Longford. He is also recognised for Moulin Rouge!, Time Bandits, Brazil, The Borrowers, Bridget Jones's Diary, Hot Fuzz, The Iron Lady, Arthur Christmas, Cloud Atlas, the Harry Potter film series, Game of Thrones, Paddington, and Paddington 2.
On the Programme, Broadbent sported a black single-breasted three-piece suit with notch lapels. He paired it with a light blue shirt unbuttoned at the collar and no tie for a more casual feel.
