The usual Friday lineup was postponed a week due to the sad death of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, so this episode of The Graham Norton Show aired on the following Friday instead. For Episode 24 of Series 28 of The Graham Norton Show, Graham welcomed Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, reprising his former role in a new Top Gun: Maverick film. His Top Gun costars Jennifer Connely and Miles Teller joined Graham too. Oscar-nominated actress Felicity Jones talks about her romantic drama The Last Letter from Your Lover joined along with Bafta-nominated actress Wunmi Mosaku. Finally, comic John Bishop came on the show to promote his tour, Right Here, Right Now and the musical guest was Olly Alexander singing 'Years & Years.'

Graham looked incredibly dapper in a wool purple checkered woven two-piece suit with notched lapels. The suit was a simple cut with no additional pocket or button detailing. He wore a classic burgundy button-up shirt and matching tie in a complementary colour to his suit. Graham wore socks matching his shirt and his usual patent leather black shoes.
