For Episode 7 of Series 29 of The Graham Norton Show, Graham welcomed Miriam Margolyes, talking about her autobiography This Much is True. He also welcomed actor Paul Rudd, who is starring in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and legendary Hollywood director Ron Howard, talking about his memoir, The Boys. Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry talked about her new sports drama, Bruised. British natural treasure, Stephen Fry, came on to promote his book, Fry's Ties, and musical guest Gregory Porter joined. Let's take a look at some of the outfits of tonight's show.
Graham wore a traditional black single-breasted suit with notched lapels and three button detailing on the cuffs. He paired his suit with a white shirt and a burgundy tie for a pop of colour. His look was more subdued this week, perhaps honouring Remembrance Day with his dark red tie and paper poppy pinned to his left side above the breast pocket. He still managed to look smart and well put together while respectful at the same time. What do you think of this more restrained look this week?
Miriam Margolyes OBE is a British-Australian actress. She started her career in theatre and then moved on to film and television. She won a BAFTA Award for her role in Martin Scorsese's The Age of Innocence and famously played Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter film series.
Miriam came to the show to talk about her autobiography, This Much is True. She wore a yellow, flowered tunic trimmed with green silk down the front and on the neckline which matched the baggy green silk trousers she was also wearing. She embellished this with a loose gold jacket adorned with a delicate monochrome pattern and a long sparkly gold sheer scarf.
In this clip, she talks about an extract from her book in which she gets arrested for parking on double yellow lines in London and shouting at a police officer for giving her a parking ticket.
America actor Paul Rudd has starred in many films that include Clueless, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Romeo + Juliet, Wet Hot American Summer, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, This Is 40, Wanderlust, Mute, and Ideal Home. He will also be appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which is due to be released in 2023.
Rudd appeared on the show to talk about his role in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. He wore a light blue single-breasted suit with notched lapels, a white shirt and a fun multi-coloured tie in a tie-dye style with orange, blue and purple. He paired this with a pair of black patent dress shoes.
In this clip, he shows Graham and the other guests his ability to create rude and funny images using his phone's camera.
Halle Berry is an African-American actress who starred in Monster's Ball. She became the first and only African-American woman to win an Oscar. She has also appeared in films such as X-Men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand, Die Another Day, Gothika, Cloud Atlas, The Call X-Men: Days of Future Past, Kingsman: The Golden Circle and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
She appeared on the programme via video link to talk about her latest film, Bruised. Unfortunately, one couldn't see her entire outfit. However, on top, she wore a slim fitting shiny tan leather jacket with an oversize collar lined in dark brown material. She had zipped it down to show her cleavage and lack of underlying top and accessorised very simply with small drop earrings and a beachy wave half updo.
In this clip, Berry talks about how she broke two ribs while filming Bruised and how it nearly shut down production.
