The LACMA Art and Film Festival 2025: Celebrity Style
Share
Every year, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) hosts its Film and Art Gala to raise funds for the historic museum. Founded in 2011, the event is co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and trustee Eva Chow. The fourteenth annual gala took place on November 5th and honoured visual artist Mary Corse and filmmaker Ryan Coogler, of Black Panther and Sinners fame. Notable figures from the worlds of fashion, art, film, and music attended in their best red-carpet ensembles. Let's take a look at some of the best-dressed guests.
Cynthia Erivo
Wicked star Cynthia Erivo arrived at the gala in a Schiaparelli creation that gave the illusion that it was covered in mirrored eyes. The grey gown had an attached floor-skimming tulle cape.
Charlie Hunnam
English actor Charlie Hunnam, known for the popular television series Sons of Anarchy, walked the red carpet in a Gucci ensemble of straight-cut, tailored black trousers and a black velvet shirt subtly adorned with the interlocking GG monogram. He finished the look with a belt featuring a horsebit decoration.
Doja Cat
Singer and rapper Doja Cat, who performed at the gala, arrived looking very 'old Hollywood' in an orange-gold sequinned Gucci dress with long sleeves, a cowl-style neckline that reached almost to her navel, and a thigh-high slit that bared flesh. She accessorised with a gold and diamond necklace and a Marilyn Monroe-esque wig.
Tessa Thompson
Men in Black: International actress Tessa Thompson looked stunning in a silver Gucci column gown embroidered with silver spangles in a leaf-and-feather design. The backless dress was long-sleeved and high-necked.
Tyriq Withers
Tyriq Withers, who recently starred in the remake of I Know What You Did Last Summer, arrived on the red carpet in a gorgeous double-breasted grey checked suit with wide, peak lapels, flap pockets, and loose-fitting, straight-cut trousers. He paired it with a white point-collar shirt and a skinny black tie.
