On The Late Late Show with James Corden, James welcomed Seth Meyers, SIX the Musical, Sharon Stone, Jack Whitehall, Jennifer Garner, Reggie Watts, Billy Porter, Lisa Kudrow, and Billy Porter. Let's take a look at this week's outfits from the show.
Sharon Stone and Jack Whitehall
Sharon Stone is an American actress who was one of the most famous sex symbols of the 1990s. Her most notable films include Total Recall, Basic Instinct, Casino, Catwoman, Lovelace, The Disaster Artist, Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story by Martin Scorsese, and The Laundromat. Stone has also appeared in many television productions, such as Mosaic and Ratched.
Sharon Stone dressed to the nines for her appearance on the show, donning a scarlet one-shouldered tulle midi dress. It featured an incredibly pouffy skirt with a ruffled hem and a large floral applique on the left shoulder. She accessorised with diamond drop earrings and completed the look with ruby-coloured lace high heels.
In this clip, Sharon jokes with Jack, and he gives himself a dubious title! Jack then jests that now James is returning to England, he, Jack, will be out of work. Sharon talks about her painting and her gallery show!
English comedian, actor, and presenter Jack Whitehall is known for both film and television. He is a regular panel show guest on A League of Their Own, Mock the Week, Argumental, and 8 Out of 10 Cats and played JP in the series Fresh Meat. He also played Alfie Wickers in Bad Education and its spin-off film The Bad Education Movie. He co-wrote Bad Education and The Bad Education Movie. Whitehall has gained international recognition from movies such as The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, The Queen's Corgi, Jungle Cruise, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. He had his own comedy series on Netflix titled Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father.
During his interview, Jack looked very dapper in a greige double-breasted suit with wide peak lapels and natural shoulders. He balanced the boxy effect of the jacket with straight cut slim-fitting trousers. He paired the suit with a dark brown t-shirt for a more relaxed feel. James wore his midnight blue suit but mixed things up by combining it with a t-shirt rather than a shirt and tie.
This clip shows Jack discussing visiting Las Vegas with his mum and how different it will be now that he has his own stand-up show there. Sharon talks about her classic movie Casino and wanting to get into stand-up herself.
Jennifer Garner and John Legend
Jennifer Garner is an American actress best known for playing Elektra in the superhero films Daredevil and Elektra. Her other well-known films include 13 Going on 30, Juno, Valentine's Day, The Invention of Lying, Dallas Buyers Club, Peppermint, The Adam Project, and Yes Day. Garner also co-founded the organic baby food company Once Upon a Farm and is a board member of Save the Children USA.
On the programme, Jennifer embraced the sheer trend in a modest way. She dressed in a navy blue vest top covered with a matching coloured sheer shirt with cuffs, collar, and a "bib" in navy satin. She paired it with a black sparkly ruffled knee-length skirt that matched the tie she donned with her shirt. She completed the outfit with black ankle-strap high heels and diamond chandelier earrings.
In this clip, Jennifer discusses her recent birthday, and John celebrates the birth of his third child. Jennifer talks about her new series, The Last Thing He Told Me.
American singer, songwriter, and record producer John Legend has released thirty-nine singles, eight studio albums and three EPs. He has sold over ten million albums in the US alone. Legend has won twelve Grammy Awards, an Oscar and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in the film Selma, and a Tony Award for co-producing Jitney on Broadway. His most well-known singles include Ordinary People, Green Light, and All of Me.
On the show, John elevated a monochromatic black shirt and slim-fitting trouser look with a beautifully tailored coat featuring delicate pinstripes in a metallic silver thread that glistened in the studio lights as he moved and gesticulated. He wore the sleeves pushed up and his shirt unbuttoned for a more casual look and accessorised with a gold chain necklace. James wore his bottle-green suit, light pink club collar shirt, and maroon tie.
This clip shows John's new skincare line Loved01, and he manages to make the word "moist" sound appealing using his beautiful singing voice and excellent keyboard skills.
