On The Late Late Show with James Corden, James welcomed Dakota Fanning, Jamie Bell, T-Pain, Tom Cruise, Monica Barbaro, Teddy Swims, Colin Hanks, Mackenzie Davis, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Walker, Adam Scott, Joachim Trier, and Maria Bamford. Let's take a look at this week's outfits from the show.
Dakota Fanning and Jamie Bell
Dakota Fanning is an American actress and sister to actress Elle Fanning. Dakota began acting at the age of seven and starred in films such as I Am Sam, Uptown Girls, The Cat in the Hat, War of the Worlds, Charlotte's Web, and Coraline. As an adult, she has continued her successful career with roles in The Twilight Saga, Effie Gray, The Alienist, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
On the show, Dakota wore a long sparkly green dress with a straight-across neckline and spaghetti straps. For added interest, the bottom of the dress had a double layer of ruffles. On her feet, she wore simple low heeled brown strappy sandals to complement the dress' thin straps. She styled her long blond hair in a middle part and left it loose about her shoulders.
English actor and dancer Jamie Bell became known for his role in the film, Billy Elliot, playing Tintin in The Adventures of Tintin and Thing in Fantastic Four. He has starred in many other films, including King Kong, Jumper, Snowpiercer, Rocketman, and Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool.
During his interview, Jamie dressed in a black single-breasted slim-fitting suit with a white classic collar shirt buttoned up to the neck but no tie for a more relaxed feel. James wore his bottle-green suit with his pale pink classic collar shirt and a blue tie with gold accents. He pulled the outfit together with green brogues.
In this clip, Jamie discusses his new Apple TV+ show, Shining Girls. Both Dakota and Jamie express their love for the Real Housewives series.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen
Benedict Cumberbatch is an English actor famous for his roles in both film and television. On television, he became internationally recognised for the part of Sherlock Holmes in the series Sherlock. He has also starred in a multitude of blockbuster films, such as Star Trek Into Darkness, 12 Years a Slave, The Fifth Estate, The Imitation Game, The Hobbit film series, and Doctor Strange. In 2015 he was made a CBE by Queen Elizabeth II in the 2015 Birthday Honours.
On the programme, Benedict donned a grey-blue corduroy single-breasted slim-fitting suit paired with an untucked white logoed t-shirt for a more casual look.
American actress Elizabeth Olsen is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Like her sisters, Elizabeth began acting as a young child. Her first film role was in Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011. She is most famous for her role as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the Marvel films Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She also played Wanda Maximoff in the Disney+ miniseries WandaVision.
On the show, Elizabeth wore an 18th century inspired cream coloured jacquard double-breasted pantsuit with oversized notch lapels and slim-fitting trousers. She combined it with a matching waistcoat with a pussy-bow collar. She accessorised with black high-heeled pumps and a bold red lip for a pop of colour. James wore his midnight blue single-breasted suit with a matching tie and a light blue club collar shirt.
This clip shows them both talking about how they can't talk about their new film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness! Elizabeth reveals that she is useless at keeping secrets. Then they play a game of rock, paper, scissors with James.
