On The Late Late Show with James Corden, James welcomed Amy Adams, Maya Rudolph, Franz Ferdinand, Thomas Lennon, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Bazzi, Linda Cardellini, Neal Brennan, and Gianmarco Soresi. Let's take a look at this week's outfits from the show.

Amy Adams and Maya Rudolph

Amy Adams is an American actress. She is possibly best known for her role as Giselle in Enchanted, though she has starred in many other films and has been featured three times in the annual rankings of the world's highest-paid actresses. She has won two Golden Globe awards and had nominations for six Oscars. Her most notable films and roles include Doubt, The Fighter, The Master, Lois Lane in superhero films set in the DC Extended Universe, American Hustle, Big Eyes, Arrival, and Vice.

On the show, Amy looked classic in a black suit but with a modern twist. The jacket was cropped with wide satin peak lapels. She paired it with slim-fitting black trousers, a fitted black shirt left unbuttoned at the collar and pointed-toe black heels for a monochromatic look. She wore her hair in loose waves and accessorised minimally with simple hoop earrings. 

American comedian, actress and singer Maya Rudolph is famous for appearing on the comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live and for roles in comedy films, such as Grown Ups, Bridesmaids, Inherent Vice, Sisters, CHiPs, Life of the Party and Wine Country. She has also voice acted in the animated movies Shrek the Third, Big Hero 6, The Angry Birds Movie, The Emoji Movie, The Willoughbys, The Mitchells vs. the Machines, and Luca. Maya performs in a Prince cover band called Princess. 

During her interview, Maya also wore a suit. Her's was more loose-fitting and in a rich jewel-toned blue velvet. She wore the wide peak lapel jacket buttoned up with no top underneath to show a peek of decolletage. She finished the outfit with white patent heels, nude nails and large silver hoop earrings. James wore his midnight blue suit, a club collar light blue shirt and a contrasting maroon tie.

In this clip, Amy and Maya discuss moving to big cities. Amy was shocked at how rude people in LA are and Maya followed the advice to not look like a tourist in New York. Both women then answered Reggie's bizarre question.

 

 

Linda Cardellini and Neal Brennan

Linda Cardellini is an American actress known for her roles in television series such as Freaks and Geeks, ER, Bloodline, Hawkeye and Dead to Me. She has also starred in films, including Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Legally Blonde, Brokeback Mountain, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Endgame, Daddy's Home and Daddy's Home 2.  

On the programme, Linda dressed in a black wide-legged high-waisted pantsuit with a simple v-necked white top tucked into the trousers. She accessorised with a delicate chain necklace and pointed-toe high heels. 

American comedian, writer, producer, director, and podcaster Neal Brennan is most recognised for co-creating and co-writing the series Chappelle's Show with Dave Chappelle and for his stand-up comedy special 3 Mics on Netflix. He has created and presented several podcasts, including How Neal Feel, and in 2016 he became a regular writer for The Daily Show. 

On the show, Neal donned a single-breasted slim-fitting royal blue suit with narrow-notch lapels. He combined it with an untucked light blue shirt with no tie for a more laid-back feel. 

This clip shows Linda sharing a story about being mistaken for Linda Carter and being chased by a fan to sign a photograph. Neal talks about his enormous family, and then Linda tells James what she took from the Dead to Me set after filming the final episode.
