The Late Late Show with James Corden, 29 August to 1 September 2022

On The Late Late Show with James Corden, James welcomed Heidi Klum, David LaChapelle, Ian Karmel, Guy Fieri, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Sabrina Carpenter, Cristin Milioti, Franz Ferdinand, Terry Crews, Ken Jeong, and Amanda Shires. Let's take a look at this week's outfits from the show.

Heidi Klum and David LaChapelle

Heidi Klum is German and American. She is primarily known for being a model and Victoria's Secret Angel, but she is also a television host, producer and businesswoman. She was the host of Germany's Next Top Model and Project Runway, for which she won an Emmy for Outstanding Host. Heidi has also acted and appeared in films and television shows, such as Blow Dry, Ella Enchanted,  The Devil Wears Prada, Perfect Stranger, Ocean's 8, Sex and the City, How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives, and Parks and Recreation. She is currently a judge on America's Got Talent. 

On the show, Heidi looked stunning in a silver and red sequinned cross-over halterneck ankle-length dress. The dress had a base of silver sequins with a pattern of red sequins in the shape of love hearts. She wore barely-there makeup and few accessories to allow the dress to shine. Her long blond hair was styled straight and draped over her bare shoulders. 

American photographer, music video and film director David LaChapelle is best known for his fashion photography, which has been described as kitsch pop surrealism. He has worked for international publications, such as GQ, The New York Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Vogue Italia and Vogue Paris. His work has also been exhibited in many galleries around the world, including Rome, New York, Venice, Prague, and Tel Aviv. 

During his interview, David donned an eclectic outfit to match his personality. Over a plain blue turtleneck, he wore a light blue shirt unbuttoned to his chest and decorated with graffiti-like patterns of hearts, flowers and words. His trousers were a tan-coloured jean-like style, also covered in graffitied words to match his shirt. He finished the look with a pair of beige pointed-toe ankle boots. James wore his burnt orange single-breasted suit with a light blue club collar shirt and a navy blue tie.  

In this clip, David talks about his most famous photographs of Whitney Houston, David Beckham, and Britney Spears. He also discusses being a busboy for Liza Minelli in Studio 54 before photographing one of her album covers years later. Heidi talks about her eldest child leaving for college and the latest series of America's Got Talent. 

 

 

Guy Fieri and Kirby Howell-Baptiste

Guy Fieri is an American restauranteur, author and television presenter. He is famous for presenting many series on the Food Network, including Guy's Big Bite, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy Off the Hook, and Guy's Family Road Trip. He also co-owns three restaurants in California, has restaurants in his name in New York and Las Vegas, and has won an Emmy Award for his television presenting.

On the programme, Guy dressed in his usual rocker style, donning an all-black outfit of satin finish trousers with a plain black crew-neck t-shirt and a leather jacket with silver detailing. He echoed the silver on his jacket in his jewellery with an oversize pendant necklace, a large watch, stacked spiky bracelets and chunky rings on both hands. 

British actress Kirby Howell-Baptiste is known for her appearances in Downward Dog, Killing Eve, Why Women Kill, and The Sandman. She has also had recurring roles in  Love, Barry, The Good Place, Veronica Mars, and Infinity Train. 

On the show, Kirby went for a double-denim look. She dressed in an indigo denim blouse with a delicate tile and flower pattern and mandarin collar. She paired it with a slightly lighter wash pair of high-waisted wide-legged jeans and high-heeled black leather ankle boots. She accessorised with gold jewellery and metallic nails. James wore his midnight blue and white polka dot single-breasted suit with the same club collar light blue shirt and navy tie that he wore with his burnt orange suit. 

This clip shows Guy discussing eating and critiquing food before revealing that he can officiate marriages and hopes to perform the ceremony at Kristen Stuart's wedding! Kirby then talks about her new Netflix series, The Sandman.
