The Masked Singer Panel! Who Wore What in Season 3

Season 3 of The Masked Singer came to a close on Saturday night (12th February 2022) and as the winning celebrity was revealed after removing their mask, the celebrity panel were left astounded as to who it was! The regular faces on the celebrity judging panel were comedian Mo Gilligan, presenter Davina McCall, singer Rita Ora and broadcaster Jonathan Ross. A few special guest judges (including singer Joss Stones on this year's finale and Years & Years singer Olly Alexander) also appeared as they continued to guess each week who was behind the mask - and in some style too! Here are just a few of the panel's outfits from season 3.

Mo Gilligan

Comedian Mo Gilligan was a dapper judge throughout season 3 and as the promo shot for the latest season showed, he sported a luxurious velvet brown dinner jacket with a pair of black tailored trousers. It was his semi-final attire as the jacket was kept slightly casual and fun through the use of notch lapels and large patch pockets at the bottom. The evening class was kept through the folded white pocket square in the welt pocket and the black studded dress shirt, finished off with a black bow tie and the jacket's single fastening.

There were a couple of themed weeks in this season of The Masked Singer and for 'Movie Week', the comedian opted for a dashing ice blue velvet dinner jacket with the classic one-button fastening and think double jet pockets. The notch lapels were a subtle casual take once more on the evening velvet attire as the padded shoulder piece was styled over a crisp white shirt, left unfastened at the collar and tucked into his black trousers. Four buttons were included in the arrangement on the cuffs too for a smart finish to his ensemble.

Rita Ora

Season 3 commenced on New Year's Day and for the first episode, singer Rita Ora opted for a gorgeous blazer wrap dress with draped kimono sleeves. It was double-breasted with two matching fabric buttons on the front (fastened by one) and short peak lapels. With double jet pockets blending into the blazer dress, the hem was sharp and finished mid-thigh, allowing the natural drape of the sleeves to have their own attention. Inside the sleeves was an intricate floral pattern that seems to be seen on the outer parts of the sleeves too, linking it together nicely for an elegant finish.

Episode 2 and Rita Ora continued the glamour in a rather glistening double-breasted evening suit. Both the jacket and trousers were heavily embellished with crystals or gems that shimmered and elevated this suit that was designed with peak lapels and a six-button front. The shoulders were padded for a strong silhouette and the double jet pockets made from a contrasting fabric with a smooth finish to break up the impact of the embellishment. The trousers were a straight cut and the hem finishing at ankle length so not as to hide the embellishment on her heels too.

Davina McCall

Presenter Davina McCall dazzled for the opening night of The Masked Singer wearing a black one-shoulder knee-length dress and classy black stilettos. The dress was completely covered in fringing which when captured by the light, shimmered and enhanced the statement impact of it even more. The one cap sleeve has a high shoulder to create a strong silhouette also as the fitted style opened up on the one side with a thigh split hem.

For 'Love Week' during this season, Davina McCall opted for a very apt red dress with big puffy sleeves and a V-neck. The dress finished mid-thigh and and sleeves were 3/4 length; but the cuffs are quite hidden through the fullness of the sleeves. It's a simple outfit that does indeed stand-out through the vivid red and the shape of the sleeves.

Jonathan Ross

The broadcaster Jonathan Ross wore a few funky outfits during this season of The Masked Singer; but a few were kept quite smart and casual too like this outfit choice above. Worn in episode 2, Ross opted for a bright orange peaked lapel blazer with a two-button front and flapped pockets. The lower edge of the pocket flaps were outlined in black for that subtle yet bold impact, whilst also matching his black trousers and formal shirt opted for the night. The centre front curved down into a smooth curve before flattening out for a straight hem as the jacket became the statement item.

It was 'Movie Week' and for his outfit of the night, Jonathan Ross sported a black and white padded jacket that was worn over a printed red shirt and trousers. The jacket itself was very bold as on the bottom were two large button-down patch pockets that had a white flap contrasted with the black button. The outer part of the pocket was made with a wide white panel, both pockets symmetrical to each other as was the contrasting white design leading down from the padded shoulders. Fastened with a white button, it appears there were vertical black pockets on the chest of the notched lapel item.

The broadcaster did dazzle with his a few of his attires, one which was seen in the very first episode of this season as you can see below, in the form of a sparkly turquoise notched lapel jacket with a two-button front, styled over a deep blue glossy shirt. Whilst Davina wore her shimmery fringed dress and Rita wore her smooth kimono sleeve dress, fellow judge Mo styled a mustard yellow velvet dinner jacket quite well with its black shawl collar.
