The 97th Academy Awards took place early Monday morning (GMT), March 3rd, 2025. Rounding up award season and the biggest night on the Hollywood calendar, the Oscars always delivers some of the finest red-carpet fashion. The men's sartorial choices are usually very formal tuxedos or black suits, so it's nice to see some pushing the boat out with their sartorial choices. Let's take a look at some of the stand-out men's looks at the event.
Timothee Chalamet
Timothee Chalamet loves to break the red carpet rules, and the Oscars was no different! He chose a lemon-yellow Givenchy suit with a cropped double-breasted blazer, a matching coloured shirt, and a pair of yellow jeans! He used a gold and gem-encrusted brooch in place of a tie.
Andrew Garfield
Andrew Garfield chose an espresso-coloured single-breasted Gucci suit with satin-edged, skinny shawl lapels that complemented his silk shirt. He left the shirt unbuttoned, showing off his delicate pendant and finished the look with orange-tinted sunglasses.
Colman Domingo
Colman Domingo is known for his flawless style. He chose a red wrap-style jacket with contrasting black lapels, black straight-leg trousers, and a red shirt. He accessorised with a gold rope bracelet, a gold lapel pin, and a chunky pinky ring.
Jeff Goldblum
Jeff Goldblum has been pushing the red carpet's sartorial boundaries all award season, and he again didn't disappoint. He donned a cream double-breasted jacket with huge, satin, peak lapels, a floral patterned shirt, a lilac scarf, a black bow tie, a huge boutonniere, and green tinted glasses.
Adrien Brody
Adrien Brody won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in The Brutalist. He wore a traditional black Giorgio Armani tuxedo but embellished it with an enormous diamond and emerald bird brooch.
