The Peaky Blinders World Film Premiere

The Peaky Blinders World Film Premiere

On 2 March 2026, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall staged the premiere of Peaky Blinders feature-length follow-up, The Immortal Man. It will be released in selected cinemas on 6 March before moving to Netflix on 20 March. The premiere couldn’t have been held anywhere but the city where the massively popular series is set, and coincidentally, where our flagship shop, A Hand Tailored Suit, is situated!

Top cast, Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson, and Tim Roth made an appearance alongside creator Steven Knight and band Fontaines D.C., who contributed original song Puppet to the soundtrack, along with a cover of Massive Attack’s Angel. Let’s take a look at their red carpet looks.

Cillian Murphy

Cillian Murphy showed that method dressing for film premieres, as seen on stars, especially Margot Robbie for Barbie and Wuthering Heights, and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo for both Wicked movies, is still going strong, as he channelled his inner Thomas Shelby with a modern twist. He wore a custom dark-brown wool Zegna suit, a grey wide pinstriped overcoat, and a matching lighter-brown shirt and scarf.

Rebecca Ferguson

Rebecca Ferguson, who plays the new character Kaulo in the film, opted for a spaghetti-strapped crushed-material gold slip dress by Roberto Cavalli for her red-carpet appearance. The gown featured a low back and a plunging neckline with delicate black lace trim. She styled her hair in a side-swept, messy plait and accessorised with long, layered gold and pearl necklaces.

Tim Roth

Tim Roth, who also plays a new character in the film, Beckett, went with a more understated, casual outfit than his co-stars. He chose a black collarless buttoned jumper, layered under a dark charcoal shacket-style jacket, and matching coloured tapered tailored trousers. He completed the smart yet relaxed look with a pair of classic black Doc Martin boots with their signature yellow stitching.

Steven Knight

For his walk down the red carpet, creator Steven Knight blended classic tailoring with the show’s signature style. He paired dark suit trousers and a matching shirt with a short overcoat and a red paisley print silk scarf. A Peaky Blinders-style flat cap completed the look.

Tom Coll and Carlos O’Connell of Fontaines D.C.

The members of Fontaines D.C., who wrote an original track for the film, also attended. Tom Coll chose a sleek, modern black suit with slim-fitting straight-cut trousers and a knee-length, single-breasted overcoat. Carlos O’Connell opted for wide-legged, pooling, pinstriped charcoal trousers, a strategically slashed black cardigan, and a floral embellished black jacket, all rounded off with a silver crucifix.
