This last week, Jimmy Fallon took a break from interviewing guests on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. But we have picked up with a look at Monday's show and had a look at Keenan Thompson from the week before. Let's take a look at some of the outfits so far this week.

Shailene Woodley

American actress Shailene Woodley is known for a television show called The Secret Life of the American Teenager, The Descendants, The Spectacular Now, The Fault in Our Stars, The Divergent Series, the HBO drama Big Little Lies, and others.

Shailene talked about being engaged to American footballer Aaron Rodgers and her new film The Mauritanian.

In this clip, Jimmy wore a smart two-piece light grey suit (a classic that goes with anything) with notched lapels and a wool checkered weave. He completed the look with a simple white button-up shirt and a grey and white striped tie. Shailene wore a white button-up shirt and accessorised with fashionable thick-rimmed black glasses.

Henry Louis Gates Jr.

American literary critic, professor, historian, filmmaker, and public intellectual Henry Louis Gates Jr appeared on the show. He is known as "Skip." He serves as the Alphonse Fletcher University Professor and Director of the Hutchins Center for African and African American Research at Harvard University. 

He is known for rediscovering many early African-American novels and has published extensively on appreciating African-American literature. Gates has been the host of the PBS television show called Finding Your Roots.

He came on the show to discuss his new show, The Black Church.

In this clip, Skip wore a classic black suit with a notched lapel with white stitching detail around his lapel buttonhole, which is slightly unusual. He kept it casual by pairing his two-piece suit with a black t-shirt underneath. 

Kenan Thompson

Emmy winning American actor and comedian Kenan Thompson talked to Jimmy the week before. He is best known for his longstanding role, since 2003, on Saturday Night Live. He stars in the NBC sitcom, Kenan. He began acting in the 1990s and is known for being on the Nickelodeon show, All That, as well as a sitcom with his often-collaborated co-star, Kel Mitchel, in Kenan & Kel. 

In this clip, Kenan wore a powder blue suit with notched lapels and a contrasting pink button-up shirt. Jimmy wore a classic black two-piece suit with a light pink button-up, a black tie, and a grey jumper with black piping on the v-neck. 

Jimmy talks about Daniel Kaluuya writing a play inspired by Kenan. He also talks about how he hoped for recognition when he starred in The Mighty Ducks. 

Which outfit was your favourite from this week's shows?

Jimmy Fallon sure knows how to make the most of his suit collection by using the same basic suits in classic colours grey, black, and navy and mixing them with different underclothes like jumpers, t-shirts, button-ups, and so forth.
