This week on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy welcomed Jane Fonda, Joe Keery, Alex G, Michael Cera, Keke Palmer, The Black Keys, Daniel Kaluuya, Sarah Hyland, Denzel Curry, Ryan Gosling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Pete Lee. Let's take a look at some of the outfits on the show this week.

Joe Keery

Joe Keery is an American actor and musician. He is best know for his role as Steve Harrington in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things and the film Free Guy. Keery also releases music under the stage name Djo.

On the show, Joe wore a light grey double-breasted slim-fitting peak lapel suit. He paired it with a 70s-style brown shirt decorated with white embroidered stripes and diamonds, unbuttoned at the collar for a more relaxed feel to the formal look. Jimmy wore his black single-breasted suit with a white shirt and maroon tie with slim white stripes.

Michael Cera

Canadian actor and musician Michael Cera began acting as a child, voicing the character Brother Bear in the children's television show The Berenstain Bears. However, he is most famous for the films Superbad, Juno, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, This Is the End, The Lego Batman Movie, and  Sausage Party. He has also released an album titled True That and performs as a bassist for the indie rock supergroup Mister Heavenly.

During his interview, Michael donned a grey chambray shirt with interest added at the collar and chest pocket with black embroidery. He left the shirt untucked over a pair of dark tan corduroy slacks. The outfit was very casual, with the shirt collar unbuttoned, the sleeves pushed up, and the cuffs unfastened and flipped up. Jimmy wore his dark grey single-breasted suit with a white shirt and brown coloured tie.

This clip shows Michael giving a contribution to the show, talking about becoming a father and his new animated film, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank.

 

 

Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling is also a Canadian actor. He has starred in many films, including The Notebook, Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Ides of March, Drive, The Big Short, La La Land, Blade Runner 2049, and First Man. He won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for La La Land.

On the programme, Ryan dressed in a navy blue slim-fitting single-breasted suit with a thin gold stripe and small diamond decoration. The jacket had peak lapels and large gold buttons to complement the stripe detail. He paired the suit with a peach shirt unbuttoned at the collar. Jimmy again wore his black suit with a white shirt and a slim maroon and black striped tie. 

In this clip, Ryan talks about the viral picture of him dressed as Ken for the Barbie movie, paints Jimmy's pinkie nail pink and then talks about his latest film with Chris Evans, The Gray Man.
