The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon's Weekly Highlights, 22-28 February 2021

This week on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy welcomed Paris Hilton, The Network, Eddie Murphy, Eve Hewson, The Kid LAROI, Awkwafina, Ava Duvernay, Mary McCartney, Chloe X Halle, Tom Holland, and Andra Day. Let's take a look at some of the look of the night.

John Legend

American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, film producer and philanthropist, John Legend. John is also the first black man to have won all four of these prestigious awards Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

John came on the show to talk about his fifth season of The Voice. John talks about singer Brandy coming on the show. 

In this clip, Jimmy wears another of his staple suits in grey wool with a slight sheen, notched lapels, and a top pocket and he combines this look with a brown polo with white buttons and white piping detail on the collar. John wore a grey pinstripe suit with a link logo interspersed with pointed lapels and a bright orange button-up shirt.  

This fun clip features Jimmy, wearing pyjamas to black jeans and a periwinkle wool jumper, and John, wearing a silk dressing gown, performing a parody of a Beauty and the Beast song, singing about being 'March again' in a pandemic.

Eve Hewson

Bono's recently relatively unknown daughter, Irish actress Eve Hewson has been known for her roles in Bridge of Spies, The Luminaries, and recently the Netflix Original adaptation of the novel, Behind Her Eyes.

Eve talks about how she spent the pandemic with her family back in Ireland. Eve talked about her band when she was young called Ten Past Two. 

In this clip, Jimmy wore a classic black wool round neck jumper with a white button-up and a burnt umber silk tie. Eve wore a sequinned jacket with embroidered piping and button details. Eve talks about how she prepared for the role of Adele with a baseball bat!

Awkwafina

American actress, comedian, internet personality, rapper, author and television host known as Awkwafina starred in several popular films such as Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians and also released a hip-hop album called Yellow Ranger. She is now the co-creator, writer, and executive producer of the Comedy Central series called Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens. 

In this clip, Jimmy wore a classic black wool suit with pointed lapels and a contrasting checkered weave throughout the coat. He paired that look with a light grey button-up shirt and a loose black tie. Awkwafina wore a brown and tan striped jacket with a contrasting silver sequin collar over the top of an orange polo with white piping and brown buttons. In this clip, she talks about becoming the official voice of the 7 Train in New York and her newest Disney film called, Raya and the Last Dragon and The Little Mermaid remake.

Mary McCartney

Daughter of the famous Beatle Paul McCartney and his wife Linda, Mary is a British photographer and Global Ambassador for 'Meat Free Monday' and 'Green Monday.'

Mary talks about her new cooking show, Mary McCartney Serves It Up! On the show, Mary wore a black jacket with red horses embroidered on either side and with a contrasting white collar. In this clip, Mary talks about the contrast between being a photographer herself versus filming her first series. She promotes reducing meat and giving options for cooking more vegetarian meals.
