This week on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy welcomed Martin Lawrence, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, A Strange Loop, Steve Carell, Maya Hawke, GIVĒON, Elizabeth Olsen, Gaten Matarazzo, Lauren Spencer-Smith, and Dan White. Let's take a look at some of the outfits on the show this week.
Martin Lawrence
Martin Lawrence is an American actor and comedian. He is most recognised for his role in the Bad Boys film series alongside Will Smith. He has been in many films, including House Party, Boomerang, Open Season, Wild Hogs, Nothing to Lose, Blue Streak, Life, Black Knight, Big Momma's House, and A Thin Line Between Love and Hate.
On the show, Martin wore a crew neck black and white graphic print sweater with a pair of classic black suit trousers. Jimmy wore his dark grey single-breasted suit with a black classic collar shirt and navy blue tie.
In this clip, Martin chats about Martin: The Reunion, reuniting with the original cast and whether he would ever bring the show back.
Steve Carell
American actor and Comedian Steve Carell is famous for playing Michael Scott in the American version of The Office. He has also starred in many well-known films, such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Evan Almighty, Get Smart, Date Night, Crazy, Stupid, Love, and The Way, Way Back. He additionally voices Gru in the Despicable Me franchise.
During his interview, Steve dressed in a traditional slim-fitting single-breasted black suit with notch lapels. He paired it with a white classic collar shirt and a royal blue tie for a pop of colour. Jimmy wore his black single-breasted suit with a white shirt and brown, black and white striped tie.
This clip shows Steve talking about how The 40-Year-Old Virgin was developed, waiting on celebrities before he was famous, and his new film Minions: The Rise of Gru.
Elizabeth Olsen
Elizabeth Olsen is an American actress. She is the younger sister of formerly acting child star twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Elizabeth is known for her role as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlett Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has starred as this character in the films Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She also played Wanda / Scarlet Witch in the highly successful Disney+ miniseries Wandavision.
On the programme, Elizabeth donned a 70s-inspired loose-fitting mid-thigh length cream dress with a Japanese style printed pattern. The sleeves in contrast to the dress were slimmer-fitting and tight at the cuff. The collar was high and had two long pieces of material that could either be tied in a pussy bow or wrapped and draped over the shoulders, as Elizabeth did. This material arrangement left the slit in the front visible and showed a little bit of cleavage for a sexier feel to a dress that could be frumpy if worn incorrectly. The entire dress was box pleated from the collar, giving the dress swish, movement and shape. Olsen wore her hair in a messy bun at the nape of her neck and paired the outfit with dark red low-heeled pumps. Jimmy wore his navy blue single-breasted suit with a white shirt and his black tie.
In this clip, Elizabeth chats about the massive success of her latest film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, not knowing if her character Wanda Maximoff will return, and her new children's book Hattie Harmony: Worry Detective.
