This week on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy welcomed Idris Elba, Aubrey Plaza, Sofia Carson, Lauren Spencer-Smith, Kate McKinnon, Lili Reinhart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Jon Pardi, Madonna, Elvis Costello, Rusty, Megan Thee Stallion, and Natalia Dyer. Let's take a look at this week's outfits from the show.

Idris Elba

English actor, producer and musician Idris Elba is best known on television for his roles in The Wire and Luther. He has also appeared in many films, including Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Thor, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Pacific Rim, and Molly's Game. Elba has voiced characters for animated movies, such as Zootopia, The Jungle Book, Finding Dory, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. He performs as a DJ under the name DJ Big Driis. 

On the show, Idris wore a club collar black short sleeve shirt decorated with silver, sparkly rhinestones. He combined it with skintight blue trousers. Jimmy wore his single-breasted grey suit, white shirt and maroon tie with white stripes. 

In this clip, Idris chats about his work on Paul McCartney and Jay-Z's albums, names the songs he would listen to in various situations, and reveals the plot of his new movie Beast.

 

 

Madonna

'Queen of Pop' Madonna is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She is known for continuously reinventing her personal and musical styles. Madonna has released fourteen studio albums, three soundtrack albums, six live albums, seven compilation albums, and thirty-seven other limited releases. She has had twelve number one albums, the record for a female artist, and has sold three-hundred and thirty-five million records worldwide. Madonna has also starred in films, including Desperately Seeking Susan, Dick Tracy, A League of Their Own, and Evita. She owns the company Maverick and has founded the charities Ray of Light Foundation and Raising Malawi.

During her interview, Madonna dressed in an eclectic combination of garments. She paired high-waisted, exceptionally wide-legged blue tracksuit style trousers with distressed white stripes down the sides with a black lacy waspie over the top of a short-sleeved black New York t-shirt. The diverse outfit was accessorised with long black lacy fingerless gloves reminiscent of ones that she sported in the 1980s. They were dressed up with chunky rings and layered chain and diamond bracelets. Around her neck, she also stacked multiple necklaces, including a diamond-encrusted cross and a silver chain-like choker. On her teeth, she had jewelled grills. Jimmy wore his dark grey suit, white shirt and sage green, blue and black striped tie. 

This clip shows Madonna talking about her latest album, Finally Enough Love. She gave Jimmy a 'butch' handbag and played a risque word game. 

 

 

Natalia Dyer

American actress Natalia Dyer is famous for her role as Nancy Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things. She has also starred in the films Yes, God, Yes, Velvet Buzzsaw, and Things Heard & Seen.

On the programme, Jimmy was joined by Megan Thee Stallion to interview Natalia. Natalia wore a classic combination of a white button-up shirt tucked into a black mini-skirt. She paired it with a black and grey fleck single-breasted blazer and black patent high-heeled pumps. Jimmy wore his black single-breasted suit, white shirt and a white, pink, grey, red and blue striped tie. 

In this clip, Natalia talks about Stranger Things season 4, her character Nancy, and whether she is team Jonathan or team Steve.
