The World Premiere of 'No Time To Die' and its Glamorous Stars

Almost 18 months after its original release date, the highly anticipated world premiere of the next instalment in the popular James Bond franchise took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London last night (28th September 2021) and wow, did the red carpet certainly deliver in some star-studded looks and glamour.

'No Time To Die' is the 25th film in the series as produced by EON productions and the last in Daniel Craig's role as the famous 007. So of course, as we analyse the fashion worn on the red carpet, there is only one star we could begin this post with: Mr. James Bond himself, Daniel Craig.

Daniel Craig

The main man of the hour, Mr. Daniel Craig rocked up to the premiere of his last James Bond film looking as refined and smart as ever in a raspberry Anderson & Sheppard double-breasted velvet tuxedo jacket, styled with black tuxedo trousers and matching bow tie. The jacket included double jet pockets and his welt pocket accessorised with a white pocket square to match his evening dress shirt. The peak lapels are wide and the shoulders padded yet strong, with the cuffs turned up for extra detail and allowing the dress shirt cuffs to show underneath. Daniel Craig did not disappoint and his words during his interview on the Graham Norton Show to a role he's played since his first appearance in 'Casino Royale' are very humbling.

Léa Seydoux

Léa Seydoux returns to the red carpet looking elegant in a shimmery Louis Vuitton evening gown as she returns on our screens playing Madeleine Swann. The silk gown was glistening though the embroidery seen across the collar, front bodice and down the cape, providing such a captivating look. It almost has a Grecian feel to it through the pleating on the neckline, the waist and below as the silk falls gracefully into a split skirt that brushes the floor. The silver embroidered waistband emphasises the use of silver detailing throughout the gown and overall makes for a beautiful design.

Lashana Lynch

Actress Lashama Lynch makes her debut in the film series starring as Nomi, a fellow Double-0 agent and on the red carpet, made such an impact in a sharp yellow and black strapless gown made from Vivienne Westwood. The neckline is modern and asymmetrical along with the waistline sitting on a diagonal to match the unique hemline of the yellow. The back is quite soft at the top, contrasted by the hemline of the top yellow panel which features a feathered green bird design on the back as a lovely extra feature. Underneath is a black tulle underskirt made with many layers to create the fullness of the skirt that really makes this red carpet look so dramatic and an overall unique piece.

Rami Malek

The new villain in the James Bond series, actor Rami Malek stars as Safin in the latest 007 instalment and on the red carpet, looked sophisticated in a two-piece evening suit from Prada. The jacket was a shawl collar design with two flapped pockets and a one-button fastening and 4-button cuffs on the sleeves. The trousers are slim and the centre crease is defined, the waistline finished with the sleek satin cummerbund to match the shawl collar. The bow tie is also a satin finish and his white dress shirt finished with subtle pleated panelling on the front and a covered button placket for a smooth look overall.

Ana de Armas

Playing Paloma, another agent Bond will encounter in the film, actress Ana de Armas also attended the red carpet premiere in a gorgeous black evening dress from Louis Vuitton. The gown is soft and silky in texture, perfect for an evening event such as this and finished with chunky silver embellished straps on the shoulders, her silver jewellery very much linking well. The neckline is a sharp V-neck plunging style down to just above the waistline as the skirt includes a thigh high split on the side for extra modern glamour.

Ben Whishaw

He's played the infamous head of MI6's Q-Branch Quartermaster since 'Skyfall' in 2012, and actor Ben Whishaw returns as Q once more in the latest film. At the premiere's red carpet, he looked dashing in a two-piece black suit with a noticeable silver embellished design on the peak lapels, adding a subtle sparkle to the evening piece. Flapped pockets were also included in the design, along with a lovely shoulderline and 4-button cuffs for a classic finish. His trousers are slim and tapered to the ankle, just loose enough to sit over his boots and his white dress shirt also a classic design with a standard collar and covered button placket.

Naomie Harris

She returns as the infamous Miss. Moneypenny in 'No Time To Die' and last night, she truly dazzled in a stunning Michael Kors cut-out dress. The dress is made with thin spaghetti straps and a subtle V line to the top of the gown as the centre front includes a crossover design, enhanced by the cut-out sections on the side. The column silhouette of the gown includes a short slit at the bottom to allow for ease of movement, but does't affect the strong yet elegant shape. With the cloth and its texture looking quite pearlescent, it was a beautiful number.

Rory Kinnear

He plays Bill Tanner in the Bond series and last night, he wore red on the red carpet which very much stood out. The jacket was a velvet evening number, design with black accents through the contrasting shawl collar, pocket square and jets on the pockets, more visibly seen on the double jet pocket on his right side. The shirt of choice was also black with the cuffs showing through the jacket sleeves and acting as a sharp outline to the velvet piece. He wore a black thin tie and his black evening trousers featured the accustomed side satin stripes and a sharp centre crease for to ensure his look was very sharp indeed.

Jeffrey Wright

Actor Jeffrey Wright stars in 'No Time To Die' once more as Bond's friend and fellow CIA agent, Felix Leiter and for the premiere, sported a luxurious velvet dark green evening jacket with a thin yet subtle bow tie. The peak lapels match the cloth of the tie and the trousers, again finished with a sharp centre crease to highlight the dapper occasion. It's fastened with a single-button fastening and includes double jet pockets below the waist, whilst his white shirt is kept plain and classic tucked into the satin finish of the waistband.

Cary Joji Fukunaga

The director of the highly anticipated Bond film, Cary Joji Fukunaga looked very smart indeed at the premiere, attending in a black velvet jacket with a subtle sheen and modernising the evening look with a pair of charcoal grey trousers. The trousers are a slim finish as the hem brushes the top of his dapper shoes but also includes black side stripes. The jacket's wide peak lapels curve softly to the top of the two-button fastening, the finish matching the cuffs on the ends of his jacket sleeves for a cool detail. Flapped pockets are also featured in the jacket design as the attire is completed with a wing collar white evening shirt and velvet black bow tie.

Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson

Producers of the film and commonly associated with the production of many James Bond films, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson dressed up splendidly for the premiere event in London. As Barbara wore a floor-length pleated gown with long floaty sleeves and a delicate ruffled edge on the neckline, Michael opted for a black three-piece suit with a single-breasted waistcoat and shawl collar jacket, styled with a matching satin bow tie and 3-button cuffs on the sleeves for the red carpet.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Actress and writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge was involved in the screenplay of the latest Bond film and last night on the red carpet, shone in a Azzaro number. The black sequined jumpsuit featured a plunging neckline and low-cut back with the hems brushing the floor and designed with a subtle flare element. Draped over the shoulders for a chic finish was a long embellished evening coat with strong structured shoulders to make this look very much a statement. With no lapels on the evening coat, it enhances the smooth lines down the centre front and allowing the jumpsuit to act as a powerful piece.

Billie Eilish and FINNEAS

As always, the Bond films are associated with iconic theme tunes and the theme for 'No Time To Die' is sung by Billie Eilish, who attended the premiere with her brother FINNEAS who co-wrote the song. Billie's outfit choice was a matching Gucci shirt and trouser set, oversized in style for a relaxed and casual finish. The lines on the trouser hem are arranged horizontally to contrast the vertical pattern amongst the rest, the same design as seen on the shirt cuffs and hem. FINNEAS opted for a black velvet double-breasted suit with a six-button front and contrasting satin peak lapels. Wearing a black shirt underneath, the band collar match the texture of the lapels, designed with the button to the side for the fastening - a powerful brother/sister duo.

We certainly cannot wait to watch the next Bond instalment and see Daniel Craig sign off for the iconic character in what we can only anticipate to be a spectacular way! 'No Time To Die' is released in UK cinemas this Thursday 30th September 2021.
