Venice Film Festival 2025, Celebrity Style: Men

This year, the Venice Film Festival celebrates its 82nd outing. The eleven-day festival celebrates acclaimed international films, and celebrity stars and guests use the opportunity to show off their sartorial style on the numerous carpets of premieres and photocalls. Let's take a look at some of the outfits that caught our eye this year.

George Clooney (and his wife, Amal)

George and Amal Clooney attended the premiere of his film Jay Kelly. She chose a high-low, strapless, button-down dress in purple satin, while he donned a traditional single-breasted tux by Giorgio Armani in midnight blue with contrasting satin peak lapels and straight-cut trousers.

Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield walked the red carpet at the screening of his film, After the Hunt, in a less traditional, yet still relatively formal, suit. He donned a powder blue double-breasted Dior creation, blancing the boxy, shoulder-padded jacket with slim-fitting, straight-cut trousers. He paired it with a grey and white striped shirt and a matching tie that he left undone and dangling loosely about his neck.

Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo, known for pushing the envelope of men's formal wear, arrived at the premiere of his film Dead Man's Wire in a black Valentino suit featuring gold-fringed epaulettes, a mandarin-style collar, and wide-legged flares.

Jacob Elordi

Saltburn star Jacob Elordi arrived at the screening of the new interpretation of Frankenstein (where he plays the monster) in a Bottega Veneta double-breasted suit with broad, peak lapels, sloping, padded shoulders, and exaggeratedly wide trousers. The look was very 80s power suit. He finished the outfit with a traditional white shirt and black bow tie.

Oscar Isaac

Frankenstein star Oscar Isaac walked the red carpet in a Celine creation. The natty outfit included high-waisted, straight-legged, black tailored trousers, a white single-breasted jacket with contrasting black lapels and buttons, and a white and black polka-dotted shirt that he wore without a tie, pulling the whole look together.
