Venice Film Festival 2025, Celebrity Style: Women
Share
This year, the Venice Film Festival celebrates its 82nd outing. The eleven-day festival celebrates acclaimed international films, and celebrity stars and guests use the opportunity to show off their sartorial style on the numerous carpets of premieres and photocalls. Let's take a look at some of the outfits that caught our eye this year.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone walked the red carpet for the screening of her film Bugonia in a white satin Louis Vuitton gown featuring spaghetti straps and a ruched, puffed bubble-like detail on the otherwise columnar dress. It was decorated with gorgeous silver beading, from the straps to the hem.
Greta Lee
Greta Lee arrived on the red carpet of her film, A House of Dynamite, alongside Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson, in an unusual choice of a plunging forest green playsuit by Dior with diaphanous, draped sleeves and black detailing, including a giant bow at the hem that trailed to the floor. She accessorised with a dainty double-stranded pearl necklace and suede pointed-toe heels.
Cate Blanchett
For the premiere of her film Father Mother Sister Brother, Cate chose an ensemble by Maison Margiela. The black satin bodice was high-necked and sleeveless, while the floor-skimming skirt was an explosion of feathers and feather-like materials arranged in a seemingly abstract pattern. She kept the attention focused on her dress by wearing her hair in a simple, slicked-back style and accessorising with dainty, understated diamond earrings.
Ayo Edebiri
Walking the red carpet for her film, After the Hunt, Ayo Edebiri wore a vibrant red, strapless Chanel gown with a ruched bodice and a red peplum decorated with three diagonally placed ruby buttons that gathered it towards her waist on the left-hand side. She wore her hair in brushed-out curls and donned diamond earrings and a complementary ring.
Alicia Silverstone
Clueless icon Alicia Silverstone looked ethereal in a high-necked, long-sleeved white Prada dress at the premiere of her film Bugonia. The gown featured puffy Bishop sleeves, an attached scarf, and a small train. She wore her blonde hair in a side-parted loose style.
