Wimbledon 2023: Best-Dressed Celebrity Attendees

As Wimbledon 2023 draws to a close this weekend with the Ladies' Singles Final on Saturday and the Men's Singles Final on Sunday, now is the perfect time to cast our eye over some of the best-dressed celebrity attendees from the two-week event. Wimbledon is one of the world's oldest and most respected sports occasions, but off-court celebrities are there to be seen at their summer sartorial best despite the perils of the British weather. This year, Ralph Lauren appeared to be the designer of choice, along with plenty of pastels, maxi dresses, and linen blazers. Let's take a look at some of the outfits that particularly caught our eye.

The Princess of Wales, Catherine Middleton

As always, the Princess of Wales looked impeccable in a mint green double-breasted blazer with padded shoulders, flap pockets, and white shawl lapels that paired perfectly with her pleated white chiffon skirt and white heels from Gianvito Rossi.

Emma Corrin

The Crown actor Emma Corrin opted for a summery linen double-breasted peak lapel short suit from Ralph Lauren, as seen on many recent runways, with a simple white dress shirt and matching chunky beige tie. They finished the look with slouchy calf-length socks for a touch of whimsy and classic tan leather brogues.

Brian Cox

Professor Brian Cox also rocked a summery beige linen suit with traditional long trousers and a more relaxed single-breasted jacket, notch lapels, and flap pockets. He paired it with a spread-collar white shirt and an ivory-coloured tie.

Lila Moss

Model and daughter of supermodel Kate Moss, Lila Moss channelled her mother's 90s style in a periwinkle satin maxi slip-dress. She added modern touches with a matching coloured cable knit sweater tied effortlessly around her shoulders to ward off the English summer chill and completed the look with brown strappy heeled sandals and a tan shoulder bag.

David Beckham

Ex-footballer and businessman David Beckham embraced the beige colour palette many male celebrity attendees chose in his relaxed single-breasted, notch-lapelled, and flap-pocketed jacket. However, he combined it with a pair of white linen trousers and a matching-coloured shirt. He added interest with a monogrammed brown silk tie and a complementary pocket square.

Sienna Miller

Actress Sienna Miller also wore a coordinating Ralph Lauren set in blue with white stripes. The jacket featured notch lapels and a belt to cinch the waist. The trousers were 70s inspired, with wide legs and large flares at the hem.

Nicola Coughlan

Actress Nicola Coughlan, famous as Penelope Featherington/Lady Whistledown in Bridgerton, looked ethereal in a white linen embroidered sundress with spaghetti straps and a flattering A-line skirt. A pop of colour was added with a woven bag in red and yellow, and on her feet, she donned raffia high-heeled mules.

Corey Mylchreest

Another Bridgerton franchise star, Corey Mylchreest, took a more relaxed approach to his courtside attire in a khaki green matching set. Although sporting a traditional button and fly closure, the trousers had a slouchy jogging bottom feel, and the comfortable matching shirt worn over a plain white tee also suggested loungewear. The look was completed with white and khaki trainers, adding to the cosy vibes.

Orlando Bloom

Superstar Orlando Bloom bucked the casual trend in a more traditional suit of navy blue with a white square pattern. The natural-shouldered jacket featured flap pockets at the waist and breast and had less formal notch lapels. He played with patterns by combining the suit with a clashing blue and white thinly striped shirt and rounded off the outfit with an interestingly textured slim navy tie.
