Tennis competition Wimbledon has a history stretching all the way back to 1877 when the inaugural Championships were held at the All England Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club. The first week of this year's two-week Championships drew to a close yesterday. Wimbledon is one of the oldest and most respected sporting occasions on the calendar, but celebrities and royalty flock there in their droves not only to watch the supreme skill of the athletes but to show off their court-side sartorial best despite the perils of our British weather. Model and designer Oliver Cheshire looked effortlessly stylish in a lightweight sky-blue summer jumper with a collar and button-opening and matching coloured tailored trousers.
David Beckham
Ex-footballer and Fashionista David Beckham always brings his sartorial A-game to Wimbledon, and this year was no exception. He looked comfortably stylish in a greige linen-look suit, blue shirt, and knitted tan tie.
