Wimbledon drew to a close this weekend with the Ladies' Final on Saturday, 15t July and the Men's Final on Sunday, 16th July. The Wimbledon title is a highly coveted one, and Czech Marketa Vondrousova defeated Tunisian Ons Jabeur 6-4 6-4 to become the first unseeded Wimbledon Women's Singles champion. She is the fourth Czech, after Martina Navratilova, Jana Novotna and Petra Kvitova, to win the Wimbledon women's singles title. Watch the video below to see the moment she won the title.
In the Men's Final on Sunday, Spanish Carlos Alcarez beat reigning champion Serbian Novak Djokovic in an epic battle of five sets to secure his first Wimbledon title. Watch the moment he won below.
Of course, celebrities and royalty flocked in their droves over the two days to watch the momentous matches. Let's take a look at some of the outfits on display off-court.
The Princess of Wales, Catherine Middleton
Princess Catherine attended both final days and looked stunning each time. On Saturday, she donned a lime boucle belted jacket with flap pockets at the breasts and hips and a matching-coloured pleated chiffon skirt by Self-Portrait. She pinned a purple and green Wimbledon ribbon on her left breast and accessorised with pearl cluster earrings, a gold bracelet, and a blush-coloured bag with a coordinating gold chain.
On Sunday, the princess again chose green, this time in a stunning emerald shade. The midi-length short-sleeved dress by Roland Mouret sported an asymmetrical ruffle on the left shoulder. She chose green drop earrings and accessorised with the same bag and Gianvito Rossi shoes from the previous day.
Tom Hiddleston
Actor Tom Hiddleston looked dapper in a mid-blue double-breasted linen suit with flap pockets, natural shoulders, and wide peak lapels. He paired it with a white and blue striped classic collar shirt and a tie that matched his suit.
Nick Jonas
Singer Nick Jonas also embraced the linen suit, this time in a beautiful ivory colour and combined it with a white collared blue and white striped shirt and navy blue tie.
Ariana Grande
Superstar Ariana Grande was barely recognisable, with bleach-blonde hair hidden under a white baseball cap. She dressed for the uncertain British weather in a mock-neck grey cashmere mid-sleeved sweater and high-waisted wide-legged grey trousers.
Hugh Jackman
Australian actor Hugh Jackman wore his gorgeous sapphire blue single-breasted notch-lapel suit more relaxedly by pairing it with a high-necked tight-fitting white T-shirt.
And a few more...
Emma Watson
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weiss
Brad Pitt
Lily James
Sir Ian McKellen
