✂️ 01 — INDIVIDUAL PATTERN CUTTING
Your Measurements. Your Pattern. Your Garment.
Every garment begins with your individual measurements and proportions. Our pattern cutter drafts a unique paper pattern specifically for you, rather than simply altering a standard or pre-existing block.
Your pattern becomes the blueprint for your garment — determining its balance, proportions and fit. Once created, your paper pattern is carefully retained for future orders, allowing us to build upon your bespoke fit over time.
This is where your garment truly becomes yours.
✂️ 02 — FABRIC CUTTING
Carefully Cut From Your Chosen Cloth
Once your individual pattern has been drafted and your cloth selected, the next stage is precision fabric cutting.
Your paper pattern is carefully positioned over the cloth, taking into consideration the fabric's weave, pattern, stripe, check and natural characteristics. Each individual panel is then cut to correspond precisely with your bespoke pattern.
From the jacket fronts and sleeves to the back, trousers and smaller components, every piece is prepared specifically for your garment.
Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is simply taken from a standard size.
🧵 03 — THE BESPOKE FITTING PROCESS
Refining The Fit, Balance & Silhouette
Your first fitting is where the craftsmanship really comes to life.
Depending on the garment and your requirements, we recommend 1–3 bespoke fittings throughout the making process. Each fitting allows our tailor to assess the garment on your body and make considered adjustments to its balance, proportions and overall silhouette.
We look at everything from shoulder position and jacket length to sleeve pitch, chest, waist, trouser balance and posture.
Every adjustment is made with your individual shape in mind — creating a finished garment that looks as good from the side and back as it does from the front.
Your fit is never assumed. It is refined.

Ask About Our Fully Basted Bespoke Process
For clients seeking the full traditional bespoke tailoring experience, we offer an additional Fully Basted Bespoke Process with Cotton Toile before your final garment is completed.
A temporary cotton toile is created and fitted to your body, allowing us to carefully assess the garment’s balance, proportions and silhouette before your chosen cloth is permanently constructed.
The jacket is then fully basted by hand, allowing our tailor to make precise adjustments during the fitting. Particular attention can be given to the shoulder line, chest, waist, jacket length, sleeves and overall balance of the garment.
Once the fit has been approved, your bespoke pattern is finalised and your chosen cloth is cut and constructed to create the finished garment.
