From the "Bullet Train" to the Red Carpet: The Cast's Premiere Attires

The latest hit movie "Bullet Train" starring the likes of Brad Pitt, Joey King and Brian Tyree Henry has taken the movie world by storm after its release a couple of weeks ago. If you haven't already seen our blog, we took a little look into some of the attires that are worn in the film (click here to have a read); but as always, a new film means premieres, and the sharpness of tailoring was spotted amongst the cast as they were promoting their new film. Let's take a look at some of the cast's premiere attires below.

Where: LA Premiere (1st August 2022)

Playing "Ladybug" in the film, Brad Pitt's premiere style was very consistent amongst the other premieres he attended, donning this very relaxed ensemble of a jacket and drawstring trousers. The tops would be styled open collar with a very small V-neck design as the shirt was tucked into the waistband and worn low down. In this particular instance, the actor's LA look was light green in collar with contrast yellow stitching spotted around the collar, notch lapel and centre front edges. It was also spotted around the pockets and definitely was prominent on the five-buttons cuffs and buttonholes on the two-button front fastening. The centre trouser seam was also finished in yellow stitching, whilst the actual drawstring was matching the top in this teal colour. The top itself also featured the design element of contrasting magenta stitching across the neckline, with hints of yellow further included. The trousers were loose and wide in its cut, almost giving it a sporty vibe which is echoed through the choice of trainers.

Below you'll find a couple more examples of this silhouette Brad Pitt wore.

Where: LA Premiere (1st August 2022)

Playing "The Prince" in the film, actress Joey King stunned on the statement pink carpet for the LA premiere wearing a structured white dress designed with a fitted silhouette. Whilst the bottom half of the garment was designed with sparkly tassels and fringing, the top half would showcase a modern, cut-out blazer design with padded shoulders across the top. The contrast of textures and shape alone within this one garment was very powerful and made even more so through the use of one colour. The collar was elongated as it led down into the straight cut notch lapels, whilst the sleeves were finished with four-button cuffs.

King herself also had a sharp array of outfits as the cast were the press tour, including this one below worn during the Paris screening.

Where: Paris Special Screening (18th July 2022): Joey King styles a black corset stay over a sheer long-sleeve blouse with single cuffs and a button-down collar. The corset is layered over a mid-calf length pleated skirt with the sheer fabric draping longer to a full length, indicating it could be a long shirt dress.

Where: LA Premiere (1st August 2022)

Actor Brian Tyree Henry stars as "Lemon" in the film and for the LA premiere of it, he donned a sartorial coat, shirt and trousers look for the event. The double-breasted coat was a statement piece for sure thanks to the large scale windowpane check design, toned down through the smart styling of the white crew neck shirt and grey check trousers with a double button waistband. The coat included structured padding on the shoulders, wide notch lapels and large patch pockets that align with the button placements on the front. The sleeve cuffs would feature the classic four-button arrangement and, to really make this look effortlessly cool, the actor would accessorise the front pleated trousers with silver chains draping from the belt loop on one side.

From one dapper outfit to another, Henry's press tour style really delivered.

Where: UK Gala Screening of "Bullet Train" in London (20th July 2022): Brian Tyree Henry opted for a cool two-piece ivory suit with notch lapels and flapped pockets, styled with an orange tie and matching pocket square in the welt pocket.

 Aaron Taylor-Johnson

Where: Paris Special Screening of "Bullet Train" (18th July 2022)

Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as "Tangerine", brother to "Lemon" (played by Brian Tyree Henry) in the film where his attire is most certainly sharp and smart; yet, on the press tour, the actor would switch up that smartness and add a bit of casual vibes to his attire, just as he did in Paris. Wearing a black two-piece evening suit, Taylor-Johnson styles the tailoring with a black-and-white animal print shirt worn open collar to mid-chest and the collar itself layered over the top of the jacket. The jacket itself also features contrasting satin lapels to mirror the satin stripe on the trouser legs. Classic flapped pockets are situated below the waist and the trousers are finished with a subtle centre crease and hem that sits over his black boots.

As a black suit is worn for the London premiere with a black and white polka dot shirt, his photocall attires were effortlessly casual.

Where: Berlin photocall of " Bullet Train" (19th July 2022): Aaron Taylor-Johnson sports a pair of sporty rust orange trousers with a turn-up hem and centre crease, styled with a light brown V-neck short-sleeve knot with contrasting beige details through the collar, sleeve hem and patch pocket outline.

For the LA premiere, a few more of the cast attended on the pink carpet to promote the film before its general release to the public. Scroll through a few more looks below, and see who wore what for the event.
