Before we delve into this suit in further detail, our tailoring team would like to wish many congratulations to our #AHandTailoredSuit groom Jason! He tied the knot in a beautiful summer wedding on the 1st July in Cornwall, and what a setting it looked to be!
Jason's initial consultation took place over Zoom with our team, discussing his wedding details and ideas for his custom suit, and here is the final result! The groom opted for a jet black two-piece with a subtle sheen to the cloth, an element which really shone in the Cornish sunshine on his wedding day. The peak lapels were contrasting in a satin finish to really echo the luxury of a black tie themed suit, along with matching satin details in the jets of his pockets. The shoulders were well tailored across the shoulders with soft padding to provide great structure across the top, whilst his trousers were a slim fit with a bit of tapering around the ankle.
As we've mentioned, Jason's initial consultation took place over Zoom, which also meant he was measured for his bespoke suit via our 3D Mobile Measurement App. These photos were taken in our studio during his first fitting after submitting his measurements on the app, and look how near perfect the fit is! Only a few minor adjustments were completed around the thigh, knee and calf area as they were taken in by half an inch. The length was also shortened at the hem by 0.75 inches, meaning a more stylish fit for his loafers and to walk on the beach without getting sand on his suit!
